Here's some more information for you!
What is ink refilling really, and how does it help me save money?
You have just about 3 options when your printer runs out of ink.
1) You replace the spent cartridge with either an original or a compatible variation. 2) You refill the empty cartridge yourself. 3) You bug your friend to do your print outs for you.
Option 3 may lower your popularity ratings amongst your social circle, so it's best to sort out your ink problems on your own! Refilling is a do-it-yourself activity, just like changing a light bulb or fixing a door hinge. You will pop the cartridge back with the sense of fulfilment that you have saved money by doing it yourself and know for a fact that since you are caring for your cartridge, it will reward you with an extended lifespan and great quality print outs!
Will using refill kits or replacement cartridges void my warranty?
No. The law ensures that the manufacturer of your printer cannot legally void the warranty on your printer just because you are using a third-party manufactured item or service.
You can use a refill kit or a compatible cartridge in your new printer without fear of voiding the warranty as long as the inkjet refill or cartridge is made for your printer. Our ink refills can be used on over a thousand printers and fax machines!
With prices this low, there must be some compromise in quality.
We won't say that our ink is so real that it'd crawl off your paper and shake your hand, but we will assure you that our inks are specifically formulated to perform in the same manner as the manufacturer's and you really can't tell the difference with the naked eye.
When is a cartridge NOT refillable?
Inkjet cartridges which have been empty longer than a day or two are usually more difficult to refill. This is due to ink drying and clogging the 'nozzles'. To fix this, use the cartridge flush that comes standard with all our refill kits.
For best results cartridges should be refilled immediately or stored for up to six weeks in a cool environment.
Damaged cartridges should NOT be refilled. Be careful removing the cartridges as the electrodes (the print head) easily gets damaged, this may cause the cartridges NOT to function properly or even to leak later! Never put a leaking cartridge into your printer.
Inkjet cartridges have a general refill life of between 4 to 10 refills, this varies according to the brand, model and usage of your printer.
